High-intensity, medium-intensity, and low-intensity threadlocker

sealing of threaded fasteners. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. Typical applications include the locking and sealing of large bolts and studs (M25 and larger). The thixotropic nature of jom 262 reduces the migration of liquid product after application to the substrate.

Product Description

JOM 277E is a high strength, anaerobic thread

locking compound.   JOM 277E is designed for the

permanent  locking  of threaded  fasteners.    The

product    performs    on    aluminum,    steel,    plated  fasteners,  stainless  steel,  and  special  alloy  parts.  JOM 277E exhibits good temperature  stability and is solvent resistant.

Typical Applications

JOM 277E  will  lock  and  seal  large  fasteners.

JOM 277E is used in applications where shock and vibration may cause the fastener to loosen.

Instructions for Use

Ensure  parts  are  clean,  dry  and  free  from  oil  and grease.

Compatible Primers

Primers such as JOM 7649 (Primer N) or JOM 7641 (Primer T) can be used to speed the fixture time of

the adhesive. Fixture times can improve by as much as 50%. The use of primers can result in lower

strength and performance should be tested after full cure.
